I have the hard copy of the ADR and love the content! It is extremely helpful. I was excited to see it come in digital version. However, I am extremely disappointed in the formatting and therefore only the 3 star. You can go directly to the animal species ie Canine, but then it is necessary to page through every illness to find the one you are after - this is very cumbersome. There needs to be at least a link to each alphabet letter.
I am using this with the Kindle app on my computer and don't know if this is the problem or not. At this point I feel like I wasted $60.00 and will continue to take the hard cover when I travel with my dogs.
I do not have a Kindle and do not plan on purchasing one just for this book. I am already invested heavily in Nook books.
UPDATE: I was a bit hasty in this review and should have contacted the author first. It was user lack of knowledge in using the Kindle app on my computer. There is a search area on the left side which does a great job of getting you the section of the book where it is mentioned ie cancer - numerous references for this illness.
I am now totally satisfied and would highly recommend this book to those who are looking for a natural approach to your animals health.

I was very excited to get this Animal Desk Reference so that I could know the best treatments for my many dogs and cat. It has some wonderful information in it, however the copy I received has nearly every page with the print at the VERY top of the page, and a large percent of those pages actually have the top line actually cut off. It's almost like they had the pages printed for a larger book but in an effort to reduce the size, rather than reducing the font or adding additional pages, they just cut the pages smaller. And unfortunately, with some of the issues I have looked up that pertain to my dogs, I don't know the full treatment recommended because of the missing lines at the top of the pages.
Update: I sent the book back to Amazon and got a replacement very quickly that is in perfect condition.
