This book kept my interest, it was not boring at all with words jumbled all together. The graphs, points of interest made the book more inviting. I didn't want to put it down. I am a visual learner, and this book was just great for me. A lot of information, guidelines, and suggestions....loved it!!! I would recommend this book to parents to-be, doula's in the making, and anyone interested in the birth of a child.

Really enjoyed this guide as it was thorough and well laid out. It brought up many things that I had not considered and was a very a good tool for organizing our plans. The book walks you through weeks prior to and during delivery describing the roles of the doula, mother to be and medical staff throughout the process. Very informative and comforting for all. Have not read other guides so no base for comparison. This may well deserve 5 Stars.
