This book has a lot of substance, almost every other page is pure text, which is great for those who are into the New Eden lore. It goes over every faction, covers the major history of New Eden, the important people, and the ways people live their lives. If you bought the EVE second decade collector box you'd definitely enjoy this. There isn't the same magnitude of original art as that, but like I said it has far more substance.
I got this for about 33 % off pre-ordered on Amazon, so the only reason why it doesn't get 5 is that some of the binding near the end was loose. I don't assume that everyone's copy will be like that, but it's a bit disappointing and keeps me from giving the book a 4.5. Also the Algos cross section, was just kinda thrown in at a random spot, and there were no other cross sections, which was a disappointment (though I love the Algos)
As for new art or lore, nothing much is new, but having it all in one book printed beautifully makes it worth it.
