I took the Network+ exam as an electronics technician with little actual experience in computer networking, and studied with just books and online research, such as Professor Messer's training videos, and scored an 867 on the exam. The Exam Cram book was one of several books I read to prepare for the exam, and contains most of what you need to know for the test. Combined with a book such as Todd Lammle's "Network+ Study Guide", or Kevin Wallace's "Network+ Authorized Cert Guide" (I read them all), after thorough study you should pass the test with no problem. My advice is not to worry too much about passing the exam, as it really isn't very difficult. Just focus on understanding networking, which is what you need to do anyway if you want to work in the field, and if you feel you have achieved this (plus memorizing some factual data such as protocols and ethernet info, etc.) you shouldn't have any problem with the exam. Also, between Lammle's book and the Exam Cram there are lots of relevant questions of the type found on the test.

This book is really a great study material. The practice test that comes in this book are almost exactly the same questions that are in the exam. I studied for this exam using this book and passed with an 860/900 score. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to pass this exam.
